I am so blessed to have been able to attend and host a Bible Study and an Athlete’s only worship night this week! To start, on Thursday we had our optional team Bible. I got to teach out of James 1: 19-27– Listening and Doing. There was 7 girls who came, and we had a really great discussion on the power of the tongue, team standards, and applying our faith.

On Sunday, I was able to finally see a worship night (which we had been planning for months), come to life. Fonzie was such an amazing help and leader to put it all together. She put together an amazing band– herself, Avery, Ezra, Ethan, Sally, and Keely (and that girl has an anointed voice). We had so many teams show out from hockey, baseball, basketball, women’s soccer was massive, softball, and so much more. I got to see students pouring their hearts out to God and praying with each other. I was also able to share a message that God put on my heart: giving God the glory through our sports. To conclude the night, the whole room laughed, praised, and danced around. I was truly so thankful to be apart of it!
